State Representative Bill Bowles

2nd Bristol District ~ Attleboro, Wards 1,2,3A,4,5,6

To the residents of Attleboro:

I would like to thank you, not only for your vote but thank those of you who worked hard. I will strive to always make you proud of that effort.. Constituent service is my top priority. I have been working hard to help residents navigate through issues with the state. As I look to fulfill my campaign priorities, it must be done in the midst of the worst economic times since the great depression. I am, however, optimistic that we will pull out of this time of challenge, and look forward to being part of it.

My campaign commitment to support education has resulted to my co-sponsorship of many important bills at the primary and secondary education level, such as legislation to allow additional criteria along with the MCAS test score to be considered as a condition for graduation.

I have supported several healthcare initiatives to help people with affordable healthcare, including legislation to help Sturdy Memorial Hospital to remain competitive.

Public Safety is an important priority, and I have worked closely with local and statewide Fire and Police to support legislation/funding to preserve public safety.

During these very difficult times, I have worked closely with Mayor Dumas and the State Legislature to help Attleboro obtain as much local aid as possible. I have worked closely with Mayor Dumas and State Officials to help with our Downtown Revitalization Project and the Industrial Business Park.
